    AN EARLY MAP OF LAKE SUNAPEE, PERHAPS THE EARLIEST DEDICATED TO JUST THE LAKE.  MAP MEASURES 9 X 10 1/2 INCHES, FOLDED, GENERALLY VERY GOOD.  WITH 7 PPS (LIGHT DAMPSTAINING) DESRIBING THE LAKE AND AREA, INCLUDING DESCRIPTIONSAND CHARMING WOODCUT ILLS.  THIS MATERIAL IS FROM AN 1889 BOSTON & MAINE RAILROAD GUIDE TO NEW ENGLAND LAKES, AND HAS SOME OF THE OLDEST MAPS DEDICATED TO INDIVIDUAL LAKES.  THIS TITLE IS FAIRLY SCARCE IN ITSELF; I HAVE DECIDED TO BREAK UP THE BOOK BECAUSE THE PICTORIAL COVER IS MISSING, AND THERE IS A VERY LIGHT DAMPSTAIN THROUGHOUT.
