    This is THE quintessential 1978  Howard Pain treatise on COUNTY FURNITURE. Country & Primitives, so popular in the late 20th C .is now realizing a resurgence today as FARMHOUSE COLLECTIBLES. A large book ,12-1/2" X 9-1/2" X 2", it's many 548 pages are with photos, many in color. In very good condition, it comes with original dust cover(partially faded on it's edge or spine). There's no loose pages or binding and only one cover has a slight bend to it. All pages are clean and  undamaged.
