    Plain & Elegant Rich & Common Documented New Hampshire Furniture, 1750-1850 published in 1979 by the New Hampshire Historical Society, Concord, based on a loan exhibition held in 1978. This is an important book on New Hampshire furniture, discussing pieces that are signed or have labels or reliable provenances such as manuscript bills. The text, fully illustrated, covers the usual details found in scholarly books: full descriptions, dimensions, and wood used. It is a softcover book (there was no hardcover edition to the best of our knowledge) with 153 pages and, measuring 11 inches by 7 1/2 inches.
