These Duckbills have an elastic cord to hold it on. They are rubber.
They have no weird smell or any smell at all, really. I always mention this because I think we all have received some crazy costume pieces that are quite odorous.
The best way to wear it is behind your neck and maybe hooked over your ears and behind your neck if a child size head.
It's pretty big and I think could cover the nose and mouth of a small child. There are holes for breathability and they work really well.
I think this would be hilarious over a mask at an Oregon Ducks game
