The stamps features the “Old Man of the Mountain”.
The “Old Man” became New Hampshire’s State emblem in 1945.
Unfortunately, “Great Stone Face” collapsed
on May 3rd, 2003 never to be seen in person again.
Fortunately, it’s preserved in this set of stamps and
can be seen by you over and over again.
