    Description

    History - The Old Man of the Mountain - The Flume - 1857-1923 in New Hampshire - Booklet, published by Detroit Publishing Company in 1923. This 24 pg. booklet was written and signed by E. H. Greenleaf, measures approx. 3.5" x 6.25" and has a Pictorial cover.
    The series of cliffs which evoked the shape of a human face on the side of Cannon Mountain in New Hampshire were a coincidence of nature on a grand and stirring scale. They inspired countless souls over the centuries—from the first Native Americans to come upon them straight through to the modern day. Sadly,
    since this booklet was written, the formation collapsed to the ground May 3, 2003.
